Do you think umpires should be provided with a helmet?

Do you think umpires should be provided with a helmet to safeguard them against vicious shots from the bat?
Answer:
Why not? If there is a harm being hit then the umpire should be given a helmet. But many times umpires do not pay attention specially in longer version of the game and that is what causes them to get hit.
Shorter versions may need them, but test cricket I do not think so. Think of it - in a longer version with the game being at slow pace after lunch putting a helmet may make some umpires to relax and sleep while standing(Lol!!!!). How many times we have seen the umpire missing a clear no ball? Those are the times umpires losing concentration.
