Frequently Asked Questions...
Lawn tractor people! When I mow my lawn with my tractor, I get unbelievable blow-by from the front?
The dirt and grass comes out from the front and blows into my face, I now wear goggles to eliminate some of that. I can see it's still blowing out the front, some of the grass actually caught on fire today by the front. Is there a soloution to this?
I can see the grass coming out the back tho..
Answer:
Yup, the chute on the side of the deck is clogged with grass. I would suggest getting a set of short auto ramps to pull the front wheels on so you can clean the underneath of the deck. Probably would be a good idea to wear some kind of mask as the grass will likely to have molded a lot. When you prepare it for winter storage, take a hand held wire brush and clean underneath real well and invest in a can of spray paint. That will keep the deck from rusting out. Be a good idea to check the condition of the blade (s) while you are at it.
